Spring has sprung, bringing with it the daffodils and azaleas – and Nashville Fashion Week! April 4th through the 8th, the fun, fashion-forward folks of Nashville will be on display as this one-of-a-kind, five-day, uniquely Nashvillian event becomes the place to see and be seen.

Ticket sales from Nashville Fashion Week benefit the Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, so it’s a good time for a good cause – a real win/win! If you are planning on attending, you’re likely to be pulling together your own “fashion statement” looks for the various shows, parties, and other gala affairs that fill the days and evenings of Fashion Week. But is your face as “runway ready” as your wardrobe? If not, there’s still time to do a little freshening up, with a quick trip to our offices for a Botox® treatment..

How does it work? Botox® (botulinum toxin) temporarily paralyzes the muscles that form frown lines and keeps them from contracting. To relax frown lines, I inject Botox ® into specific points between and over your eyebrows, using a fine needle. Botox ® can typically be used between the eyes, on the forehead, and around the sides of the eyes (crow’s feet). Occasionally, it can also be used for “smoker’s lines” around the lips as well. Most patients will notice significant results by 3 or 4 days, and steady improvement over about two weeks. Best of all you can get it done in well under an hour, without anesthesia.

A word of caution here, though: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you must not use any form of botulinum toxin. The very small risk of the toxin spreading and affecting the baby is still too great to be considered acceptable.

But if that’s not an issue for you, give us a call! You’ll be amazed at what Botox® can do for you in just one quick session.
